I am living in France for the year and I just bought an iPod off of Amazon, because they are much cheaper in the US than in France. I had it mailed to my sister's house also because there is no sales tax in her state. Now she is going to mail it to me, but I can't figure out if I have to pay customs duties on it or not. When you travel to France, you are allowed to bring in 450 euros worth of goods, but I can't find out if it is the same when mailing things. Does anyone know where I can find this information?

The "franchise de douane" when mailing items to France is 45 Euros from one individual to another.

There is no duty on iPods, only TVA 19.6% on the invoice amount, INCLUDING shipping costs.
